In a typical day, you may be out with train drivers collecting data on what they experience, working with our training school to develop and deliver Human Factors training, doing task analyses on our controllers, analysing the potential impact of new automated systems, analysing data on the influencing factors in accidents and incidents, or taking part in initiatives to promote a positive safety culture. This is a very dynamic, hands on programme - where you will be working directly with our Head of Human Factors, Nora Balfe and the specialist team.
